Can you tell me more about the SodaStream TERRA™?

We’re glad you asked! The SodaStream TERRA™ Sparkling Water Maker is an extremely convenient Sparkling Water Maker. The new Quick Connect patent-pending technology makes your cylinder connection easy and intuitive, and the updated modern design along with a bigger carbonation button make bubbling quick and easy. The SodaStream TERRA™ also comes with an easy-to-clean, dishwasher-safe carbonating bottle.

How do I use my SodaStream TERRA™?

1. Begin by filling your carbonating bottle with cold water up to the fill line. Remember to always fizz water before adding any flavour.

2. Tilt the bottle rest out towards you until a click sound is heard. Do not pull the carbonating tube.

3. Insert the Carbonating Bottle neck into the Snap-Lock and push it up and back. The Snap-Lock will hold the bottle in a vertical position suspended above the base. The bottle is inserted correctly when there is a gap between the bottle and the base.

4. To carbonate, firmly push the carbonating button all the way down and hold the button for 1-2 seconds and release. Repeat 3 times for standard fizz and 5 times for strong fizz. Sparkle Note: You may see small pieces of ice appear in the water during carbonation of very cold water. Any ice created will melt.

5. When you've reached the right carbonation level, gently pull the Carbonating Bottle towards you until it reaches its fully forward position and remove. Do not remove the Carbonating Bottle until after hearing the sound of excess CO2 being released and never force the Carbonating Bottle out of the Snap-Lock.

6.Flavour your way! Enjoy your sparkling water or add your preferred SodaStream Sparkling Drink Mix flavour to enjoy a sparkling flavoured beverage, but remember always fizz water before adding any flavour.

How do I insert the cylinder in my SodaStream TERRA™ Sparkling Water Maker?

It’s easy to get the sparkling started with our new Quick Connect Cylinder. Just follow the instructions below to get bubbling!

*Please note that the blue, screw-system cylinders are not compatible with your SodaStream TERRA™ Sparkling Water Maker.

1. Place the SodaStream TERRA™ Sparkling Water Maker on a flat sturdy surface in an upright position.

2. If a carbonating bottle is inside, remove the bottle. Never insert or replace the cylinder while a carbonating bottle is in the SodaStream TERRA™ Sparkling Water Maker.

3. Remove the back cover by pulling it away from the body of the Sparkling Water Maker while placing one hand on top of the Sparkling Water Maker.

4. Raise the cylinder handle.

5. Remove the seal and cap from the Quick Connect Cylinder. Insert the cylinder into the cylinder holder by positioning the bottom of the cylinder into the Sparkling Water Maker and then gently placing the rest of the cylinder into the cylinder holder.

6.Lower the handle.

7. Replace the back cover by fitting the upright tab at the bottom into the rear slot at the base of the Sparkling Water Maker. Then push the cover into place onto the back of the Sparkling Water Maker.

How do I replace the Quick Connect Cylinder in my SodaStream TERRA™?

Follow the steps below to replace your empty carbonating cylinder:

1. Place the SodaStream TERRA™ Sparkling Water Maker on a flat sturdy surface in an upright position.

2. If a carbonating bottle is inside, remove the bottle. Never insert or replace the cylinder while a carbonating bottle is in the SodaStream TERRA™ Sparkling Water Maker.

3. Remove the back cover by pulling it away from the body of the Sparkling Water Maker while placing one hand on top of the Sparkling Water Maker.

4. Raise the cylinder handle and take out the empty cylinder.

5. Remove the seal and cap from the replacement Quick Connect Cylinder. Insert the cylinder into the cylinder holder by positioning the bottom of the cylinder into the Sparkling Water Maker and then gently placing the rest of the cylinder into the cylinder holder.

6.Lower the handle.

7. Replace the back cover by fitting the upright tab at the bottom into the rear slot at the base of the Sparkling Water Maker. Then push the cover into place onto the back of the Sparkling Water Maker.

8. Enjoy your fab fizzy drink!
